It is but I worry more about base packages with the run and teams with the short passing game. It is not like we have disrupted much of anything other than when the opponent decides to spread it out.

Goes back to the weakness inside. You can't run a NASCAR package the whole game.

Well, hopefully when we get our LBer core whole it will help with that short passing game, at least.

That play may cement Weeden as the backup.

I don't think Vaughan is worth keeping. Get him to the PS if possible. If not, no biggie.

I'd keep 2 QBs only.

I did too.

I just have to cancel by August 30. So that means I can watch Saturday's "dress rehearsal" game as well.

I just hate that our backup is so damn limited.

Having Weeden at QB is akin to having 40 year old Brad Johnson back there. Same production.

Yeah, I do too, but the reality is that unless we have a guy worth developing, it doesn't really matter.

And that doesn't appear to be Vaughan.

One bad thing I'll say about Randle.... he doesn't seem like he can stop and restart and change direction very quickly.
