It was? I don't think I've even mentioned them for years.

But it is cute how you Lilliputians stick together.

Awwww, touch a nerve or something, sweetheart?

I thought you were made of tougher stuff than that. It's just a joke, Nordic, you'll be fine.

1. Boyz II Men
2. Jodeci
3. Shai
4. New Edition
5. Silk

Honorable mention: Blackstreet. Their first album was really good, mostly cause Teddy Riley was gold back then.
Silk? Really?

You must have really liked that one album they put out a lot because I only remember 2 good songs from their short career.

New Edition was great, but I consider them more 80's than 90's.

For me, it is:

1. Jodeci
2. Mint Condition
3. Shai
4. Boyz II Men
5. Dru Hill

Honorable Mention: H-Town

Freak Me is an all timer of a song when trying to set the mood. Maybe the only single better at that was Die Without You by PM Dawn.

It is definitely an all-timer R&B song, but that one song doesn't make them a great group, IMO.

And props on the PM Dawn....great tune.

I gave an example of Silk's greatness, but that entire album was fantastic. They had some singles that were ok from other albums too.

George Strait is not the GOAT. GTFO of here with that crap.

The greatest was named George, though.

You can't be the GOAT if you don't write the vast majority of your own songs.

Neither George does that.

There is something to be said for the talents who can writer their own sings or create their own music, or both.

But despite the fact that all George Strait does is sing, I still think he's the legend.

Best collection of songs of any country artist, IMO.

You lose.

Nobody beats George Strait.
Merle Haggard can sing circles around Strait. In fact you only have to listen to anyone sing Haggard'songs to know he is all time best. They can never deliver on his stuff like he did.

As much as I like Merle, there is only one greatest.

And I put Cash second, limited vocal range and all.
