Trump supported socialized medicine! For reals, yo! I'm serial!

I'd consider voting Hillary over trump, but if that's the level of discourse coming from that side, I'd sooner vote for Monte Brewster.

Yep and that is one of the democratic candidate's campaign platform. Does that make him nutso as well. I tire of the liberal rhetoric about the judgemental and extreme depictions of people who are so bold as to disagree with them.

I think there are separate criticisms of Trump that can be made.

1. He says crazy, hateful, racist, atrocious stuff.

2. He lies all the time.

I don't think the social healthcare or any of the other liberal things he was for is a criticism of his philosophy as much as a demonstration of how dishonest he has been about selling himself as a republican.

Donald Trump’s original health care plan as of September of 2015 — about half a year ago — involved universal health care for every American citizen. For real. I’m not making that up. Here’s an article from Breitbart (a super conservative website you probably trust more than you trust us) that proves it. It wasn’t the first time he pushed for universal health care, either. Here’s what he wrote in 2000:
“I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on health. It is an unacceptable but accurate fact that the number of uninsured Americans has risen to 42 million. Working out detailed plans will take time. But the goal should be clear: Our people are our greatest asset. We must take care of our own. We must have universal healthcare.” – Donald Trump

2. Trump Used To Support Gun Control. He was big on banning assault weapons, as well as background checks and waiting periods, when he wrote his book back in 2000. Nowadays, he’s more conservative. But you know how people love to rail on Hillary Clinton because she’s a flip-flopper? Donald Trump is a flip-flopper, too.

3. Trump Supported Hillary Clinton! Speaking of Hillary Clinton, guess who was a big supporter of hers until recently? Donald Trump, that’s who. He financially backed her Senate campaigns repeatedly, and made a yuuuge donation to the Clinton Foundation of more than $100,000 as well. Hillary Clinton sat front-row at Trump’s most recent wedding in 2005, too (Bill was at the reception). He’s been in cahoots with the Clintons in the past. I guess you have a new catchphrase now? Trump “Pals Around With Clintons?” Let’s see if that one catches on.

I feel like at this point criticism for Trump should be bipartisan. It's not about conservative vs liberal, it's emotionally instability vs. thoughtful pragmatism.

I think you grossly overestimate Trump. As in, there's literally no qualification he has for president, as we've gone over a million times. Let me be clear every person who's supporting Trump (that he hasn't offered a job like Carson/Christy) is doing so for an emotional/thoughtless reason, and if I meet one person, who's willing to have a thoughtful conversation with me about it, I'll change my mind. But to date I'm forced to assume the lack of thoughtfulness is indicative of a lack of thought.

I'm not o over estimating anyone because all the stuff you read is someone who is writing and making judgements and who knows where they are picking up all their extreme opinions. It just seems that some are too eager to believe anything negative without knowing the full circumstances. The latest is the article that was posted. How credible is it after all and yet it is brandished as gospel.

I was just going off the fact that his 1st 3 topics were the top 3 republican talking points against Trump for the last 3 weeks.

But really it's a shitty piece of journalism and I don't know why you would inflate it to make an opinion of anyone other than the author.

Who outside of Geng has said anything about that article and how are extrapolating what Towns said as being in defense of that article?

Took a trip through right wing talk radio last week over a couple of days while driving around.

It's easy to see who listens to that stuff because they repeat the same talking points in here.

And it's easy to see why that segment of the population is so angry, 80% of what is said is used to agitate against something.

This is all I know about Trump from listening to him speak:

1. Fuck Mexicans

2. Fuck Muslims

3. Megyn Kelly is a cunt bitch whore from hell.

3. Trust me, I'll make America great again. No, no, just trust me. I'll tell you how when elected.

How this could appeal to anyone but retards is beyond me.
