I wish I was a Steelers fan. They are just a well run organization.
It's helps to have a good front office that knows how to draft, and not just in the early rounds. They do hit big on the first couple of rounds every year, but they also don't use day 3 on ST's and projects. They never rebuild they just reload. It also doesn't hurt to have a solid coaching staff.

Right now their only weakness is in the secondary, but with a good front seven combined with playing against inferior passing teams and backup QB's almost every week they are able to do enough to win while the O is putting up over 30 a game. Just the last 3 games they face backup QB's from the Colts, Bengals and now Broncos. They also get the walking wounded Ravens next and then the Browns who don't have any QB even when healthy. Next legit chance to see them lose will be divisional round of the playoffs. But it'll come down to them and the Pats most likely.

The Steelers have had very questionable drafts over the last 3 years and the last 3 1st rounders have been sketchy at best.

They know how to coach to the talent they have and bring in veterans that fit there schemes.

5 QBs, eh? Ok.
Ok then tell they don't go overboard on things when the media and fans point and complain about every year when we all saw it coming. It will be overdone to the point that another position will suffer.

Jarvis Jones is really their only questionable first rounder recently, but he has played well most of this season. Ryan Shazier is solid. It's still too early to tell with rookie Bud Dupree but he was a legit first rounder and will likely turn into a good LB for them. Another former first rounder, Heyward is the key to their defense. They also hit big on Bell and Tuitt in the 2nd the last three years.
But it also doesn't hurt to have a very good DC. LeBeau was one of the best and now Keith Butler who was waiting in the wings for years looks to be just as good.

If there is a position you need to go overboard on, it's QB. But thinking 5 QBs will be brought in is just retarded.

Can you imagine the outrage is Dez acted like Beckham yesterday.

There would have been calls to have him suspended for the rest of the year and he would have led every SportsCenter for the next 3 days.:lol

Just saw the ODJ cheapshot on Norman. If that doesn't get a suspension, nothing should.

Got one game. Cowboys have killed my give a fuck about football.

Is there any QB you'd take over Cam Newton right now?

Amazing season with average at best WRs.

Hell yes. Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Wilson, Luck, Brady, Romo, pretty much most of the usual suspects.
Newton is having a great year, but they have basically tailor made that offense for his strengths and weaknesses. What he does for them is not sustainable.

if I'm coaching the panthers, no. Otherwise give me Roethlisberger, he's looking like a stud against some of the stoutest defenses in the league.

Oh, no doubt.

Had that been Dez, that story would've been the lead story on every single one of those idiotic, mouth-breathing shows on ESPN.

It's completely pathetic that for the most part he seems to be getting a pass from everyone. You're 100% correct though had that been Dez instead.
