Unless it's a high pick, the Cards are stupid. Matt Barkley is terrible.

Hearing it's a conditional 7th
Well, at least they got something for him. I'm shocked anyone would trade for him. But, not a very high risk for Cards so can't blame them, really.

This is like the best of all possible worlds. Although I was so, so happy to see Goodell get his ass handed to him by a federal judge the fact that Patriot fans were so smug about it was off-putting. Then this comes along to not only put the Patriots' fans back in their place but also make Goodell look even worse. :towel

Those cheating ass bastards.

That's why I wanted Brady punishment to stick because I absolutely hate that whole smug how-dare-you-insult-us attitude when they know damn well they cheat.

I'm with Dallen - hopefully this makes both Goodell and the Patriots look even worse and both of their reputations suffer. If those reports are true, that is some downright shameful stuff that they pulled.

How much mud is the NFL willing to be dragged through before Goodell is given his walking papers? Since he took the helm the NFL has become a PR punching bag; bounty gate, spy gate, deflate gate, and domestic battery palooza were all completely boobed up by this clown.

Money talks. As long as the NFL keeps generating record-setting revenues, Goodell's job is safe.

Rich people sometimes get hurt feelings about being embarrassed. Not Jerry, but a lot of the others. Remember they hired "tough guy" Goodell partly because Tagliabue was considered too soft on players who misbehaved and embarrassed the league. Being embarrassed because you look incompetent is worse than being embarrassed by looking unconcerned.
