The only positive to Hatcher over Melton is the injury concern. Other than that, Melton is the better choice.

Uhhh... This is just lazy reporting, Marinelli has more history with Melton than with Hatcher.

I'm not so sure that's a big positive for Hatcher since this was the first season he stayed healthy.

Every non-idiot knows Melton is a perfect fit for this scheme since he was a Pro Bowler IN THE EXACT SAME SCHEME.

Does it take a genius to figure this out?

But Hatcher never had a major knee problem like Melton's coming off from. Still, wouldn't be enough for me to think twice about it.

Cutting those 4 players freed up 1 mill in cap space.

See, Jerry has it all under control.

Realiztic offseason plan

Restructure Romo, Ware, Lee, Witten, Carr, Scandrick, Frederick, Claiborne, Carter, Escobar, Staubach and Rowdy. The contracts were designed to do this automatically anyway.

That should clear about $45-48 million in cap space

1. Sign Greg Hardy
2. Sign Henry Melton
3. Re-sign Hatcher
4. Sign Eric Decker
