Three up, Three down

PHILADELPHIA -- The Dallas Cowboys' 17-3 victory against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday was a solid performance by the defense mixed in with two good offensive scoring drives. But there were a few negatives. With that we have our weekly, Three up and Three down.

Three Up

Monte Kiffin: Well, the Cowboys defensive coordinator can't blame himself for anything this week. Kiffin's defense produced three sacks, held the Eagles to a season-low 278 offensive yards and intercepted three passes. Also, Desean Jackson and LeSean McCoy were ineffective most of the day.

Brandon Carr: Did the Eagles target the corner? Of course, but the Eagles offense was unable to produce much. Carr did a nice job holding down Jackson as the Cowboys continued to use more man-to-man coverage. Carr had two pass breakups, a pick and a tackle for loss.

Terrance Williams: We could also show Cole Beasley some love here, but Williams picked up a touchdown in his third consecutive game and is giving Tony Romo more confidence he can become a trusted receiver. Williams finished with six catches for 71 yards and one touchdown.

Three Down

Miles Austin: Is the hamstring really bothering Austin? Dwayne Harris and Beasley picked up playing time before Austin did on Sunday. Austin was credited with a drop after failing to haul in a Romo pass on third down. Austin finished with zero catches.

Doug Free: The starting right tackle committed three penalties, his first of the season, and all three were false starts. Free has been a productive player for the Cowboys this season, but he had a rough day against the Eagles.

DeMarco Murray: It's not his fault, but he wasn't on the field for the game due to a sprained left knee. Murray wants to play but his health prevents that and Joseph Randleplayed well in his place.
