They rode Emmitt pretty hard and he lasted 12 years. Depends on the guy.

Zeke's a mold breaker. For a decade common sense dictated that RBs productivity was not great their rookie year, that taking a RB with a top pick was risky, that a RB by committee was more effective than a single workhorse.

I think we need to take Zeke as his own thing. I'm not sure common sense applies.

It's simply not wise to run a RB too much no matter how good he is. Ride the horse more heavily in your blue chip games, but even then share the load with other capable players.

It starts with Dak loosening up the defense and making the DL totally unsure of run or pass. Then the OL seizes that moment of indecision and blasts them backwards.

Then Zeke and Dez make them pay over and over for being indecisive or over-committing. Before long they are consistently down ten to fourteen points.
