Out of the possibilities that we will be facing...

1. Detroit
2. NY
3. Green Bay.

Lions, obviously. After that, GB then Giants in that order. GB is playing better right now but the Giants seem to have our number. That being said, I think Seattle wins and GB wins and we face GB.

Detroit would be easiest. But NY would be the best narrative since we'd get a chance to avenge our only real losses, as well as the humiliating upset in 2007.

Packers would also be great. Since we matchup better with them, and 2014 needs some avenging too.

He's talking about which would you rather play in our first game. He says IN DIVISIONAL ROUND.

I do not want the Giants again. I really want Detroit first. We beat GB fairly easily in Lambeau. So, my choices were easy.

I'd say it's a 60% chance we face Green Bay, 30% chance we face NY in the divisional.

If Detroit manages to beat Seattle in Seattle, I'll be effing stunned.

Lions, of course.

But it doesn't really matter. As much as you hope to get the easiest road possible, you just aren't gonna face many "weak" teams at that stage of the playoffs....unless you're the Patriots and guy get to face the Dolphins or Texans.

I'd rather not face Rodgers either, but if we can't beat him and that Packers team, then we can stop dreaming about what-if because we weren't gonna beat Brady either.

I say bring it on. I've been waiting for the Cowboys to have a legit shot at a SB for my entire adult life and here it is. I'm just gonna hope that we truly have what it takes and not worry about who we're facing.

If our playoff road consists of a red-hot Rodgers and an explosive Falcons team and we still make it, then we damn sure can beat Brady and the Pats.

I think our ideal yet reasonably realistic path through the playoffs (i.e., no facing the Texans in the Super Bowl) would be the following:

Lions upset Seattle. Giants take out Green Bay.

Dallas beats Detroit in round 2. Giants upset Atlanta in Atlanta.

Dallas extracts revenge on the Giants in the NFCC.

Dallas faces Kansas City in the Super Bowl.

So Detroit, NYG, KC.

We could reel off those three straight.

If we have to win three straight of Green Bay, Atlanta, New England... I don't feel confident about that.

Nah.

Giants defense is playing great, but they aren't going to hold the Packers at home to 14 or less, and that is exactly what they'll have to do if they want to win with that putrid offense of theirs.

They haven't hit 20 as an offense in weeks, and that isn't going to change this week.

I'd rather play GB than NYG.

And I think probably we will. As of right now I don't see the giants beating GB and I don't see Detroit winning.

Best case obviously is to play the lions. Looking ahead, I'd like to see Seattle knock off Atlanta. I'd feel pretty good about a path of GB / Seattle.

I'm not in a hurry to face the giants.

I do, too, but I don't feel confident we can.

The last couple games showed me that Dak's on the money with the deep ball.

Nobody can stop this offense if Linehan will throw that damn sweep shit out.

The defense is peaking at just the right time.

Anything less than a SB win is a huge FAIL. This is the year.
