While I acknowledge this as a well-crafted pun, I do not acknowledge turkey as comparable to chicken.

I've read that it's safe to take the breast at 150 and let the legs/thighs hit 165 if you plan on letting it sit for a bit.

I plan on trying that next time as well.

Hopefully we don't get the Sal Manillers.
I almost always go 160 for the breast, wrap in foil and towels and put it in the cooler while I prep other stuff. I think 164 is recommended but I'm risky so I do it 160

I'm going crazy next time and taking it at 150 in the breast.

If I die, I would not recommend trying it.

One will have a long wait for a Turkey to be served at our household. I will go with the other white meat.

Before I smoked this turkey, we'd only buy one for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

But now a whole new world has opened up and I'm going to buy enough to offset the LT & Iamtdg turkey boycott throughout the year.
