So what happened on the other 23 routes?
Deep outs and ins. Only like 7 of the 44 were short to intermediate routes. They are running him on low percentage routes. Not exactly the best move when the idea is to move the ball effectively.

What happened to the back shoulder fade?

After watching the game again they did do some good things with him in the slot, he beat coverage every time but Dak did not throw on time with those routes, it's something that could get better with more practice.

We did move the ball effectively...8th in first downs and 5th in third down conversion percentage.

But, just couldn't quite get it in the end zone, dadgumit. And, we did not move the ball effectively later in the game.

Well we were basically unstoppable moving the ball in the first half. We had what, like one punt.

There is a reason our success wasn't sustainable. And, key number one was they realized every other play Dez was just gonna run fast in a straight line. So, they adjusted to that.

It is a process. It is hard to score points in the NFL

I don't think its sustainable for any NFL team to never punt once.

We need to move Dez around more like the Steelers do with Brown. Also, Brandon Marshall has more catches over the middle tonight than Dez well have in a month.

I don't think Bryant gets enough blame for not being open. It is as if he is the first WR to ever be double covered.
This same thing happened to Irvin.

Neither were/are fast, so their game is more about body positioning and powering through contact.

A rookie might not be able to recognize Dez' ability to catch the ball in spite of what looks like his being covered.

Him or Butler.

It still pisses me off that we don't use Butler more.
You know why not. Beasley is in the fucking way. Without Beasley, they'd have to play Butler more.
