Passed away at age 83.

RIP. Always loved his work and Blazing Saddles is an all timer for me.

Sorry, ED.

Definitely one of my favorite actors of all time. I googled to remember the name of the Stir Crazy movie and was surprised at how many movies he was in with Pryor.

Same. His Skip Donahue character in Stir Crazy probably gets lost a bit because of his more epic performances, but he was great in that movie.

Dave: Who are you talking to?
Wally: I'm talking to you, you prick.
Dave: Why don't you look me in the eye and say that?
Wally: I would if I could but I can't, I'm blind.
Dave: You're blind?
Wally: Yes I'm blind, what are you fucking deaf?
Dave: Yes, I'm fucking deaf!
Wally: You're really deaf?
Dave: I'm really deaf.
Wally: Then how do you know what I'm saying?
Dave: Because I'm reading your lips now you want the job or not?

Sad about his passing.

But I missed him even before after his disappeared from movies.

Saddened even more that he struggled with Alzheimer's and that hits home to me.

This SOB was in so many great comedy classics.

And he was MOTHERFUCKING WILLY WONKA!

I SAID GOOD DAY, SIR!

RIP.
