I had the 2600, too. I remember spending like 6 hours one day playing Pacman to make the score roll over at 100,000 (I think). There was a pattern that you could run that you would never get you caught by those pesky ghosts.
Yes. The NES was my first console, but I do remember playing my older cousins' Atari.
I could never get into it. I was all about Pong and Pole Position.
I liked the track and field game and one that had a guyvrunning through a jungle jumping crocodiles and swinging on vines (can't remember the name).
Pitfall. I played the shit out of that.
