I respect him for standing up for what he believes in, but a part of that is accepting the consequences. Bringing your political beliefs into the game is a distraction that most teams would avoid. Tom Brady was a big Trump supporter but he kept that outside the game. To me that's the difference. Do whatever you want on your own time - publicly or privately however you see fit. But on Sundays you are there to do a job.

It's a lot like the TO situation all over again. He's no doubt talented though not on the TO level. Agree with him or not, you have to weigh the circus he is going to bring with him against his talent, and he's not THAT talented.
