RB has to be a priority. We did sign Morris and McFadden was solid last year, but I am frustrated every year when we talk ourselves out of taking a RB.

I still have PTSD from passing on Steven Jackson.

68) Braxton Miller, WR OSU
101) Sheldon Day, DT, Notre Dame
118) Jordan Jenkins, OLB, UGA

I have a feeling this will be a weird draft. I am not worried about 34.

There will be talent there.

Except that we might take Prescott there.
I think the 2nd round pick will make or break this draft, I think that is where you get the most bang for the buck.

I know damn full and well that our "dream" drafts will never actually happen, it's still fun to do though.

Just for kicks I'll say this is nearly a dream draft and totally composed of our pre-draft visits:

1. Ezekiel Elliott
2. Kevin Dodd
3. Tyler Boyd
4. Connor McGovern
4. Jacoby Brissett

I wouldn't be too happy with that 4th round but the first 3 picks would be straight money, even if Boyd likely isn't there at the top of the 3rd.

At this point I'd just be happy if we don't take Dak in the 3rd honestly.
I like that draft and it could easily happen, I think Obaghu or Dodd will be there at 34, don't know much about McGovern but I like everybody else.

I see there is a lot of Braxton Miller love.

I would not be surprised if he is gone in the 2nd.

Guys, since I'm newer here, what's the book on Bryan Broaddus?

Is he connected?

Or full of crap?

How much stock do you guys put into what he says?

Not sure but I think he is the one with Lynch as the top QB on his board and very highly rated. Not sure if he is just off the wall or not.

It has been really silent on his front lately. I remember around the Senior Bowl he was being hyped as a possible late first and certainly early second round pick. Things have cooled around him since but he is a guy with a wide range of potential picks. I could see him going late first all the way down to the third/fourth round. I just personally love the potential with him. Dallas doesn't necessarily need a WR this year but a year from now we very well could. Butler and Williams are both free agents a year from now.

I've been all in wanting either Wentz or Goff. But since that is now a fart in the wind, I've been waffling between Buckner and Elliott. I decided to go this way, because I think even as good as Elliott is, we'd be better served taking defensive help at the top, then grabbing our RB later. Weighing it all, even though Prosise might not be as exciting as Elliott, I think going this route helps the team more. Spence probably won't be there in the 2nd, but you never know. And I think Mills is the poor mans Ramsey. He can also play both corner and safety and is a good blitzer from the slot.

1. DT/DE DEFOREST BUCKNER OREGON

2. DE NOAH SPENCE EASTERN KENTUCKY

3. S JALEN MILLS LSU

4. RB C.J. PROSISE NOTRE DAME

4. ILB SCOOBY WRIGHT ARIZONA

My dream scenario is me getting shitfaced on Jose Cuervo margarita mix and calling out of work Friday, either out of celebration or - most likely - sadness and anger over another blown draft.
