He is not one of the six invitees. Wentz, Hogan, Brissett, Driskel, Prescott and Kessler.
Kesller and Hogan are at least a little interesting. Hogan is big and a pretty good athlete all around. He didn't throw the ball a ton in college but he has some ability to translate to the next level. Kessler is interesting because he is a QB that at one time was receiving hype as a legitimate NFL prospect because of the numbers he was posting at USC. Of course his problem is that he just might not have the physical tools for the next level. He isn't particularly big, doesn't have a particularly great arm. I don't know if he has the physical tools to translate to the next level.

I bet you feel pretty embarrassed right now...

I wonder which of the QBs already skipped out for him to be in.

I thought I saw in another thread that they wanted to add another QB to each squad?

Hey, he wasn't on the invite list on the official site.

That said, glad he is going. He has a chance to be a sleeper.

That's because he wasn't an initial invitee. He took the place of Cook.

Cook probably declined because he is a douche. Read that in several places already.

I think it was him that I read wasn't very well-liked by his teammates.

I remember when AJ McCaron basically did that. Thought he was a lock for the first round and didn't need the Senior Bowl. We saw how well that worked for his draft stock. Connor Cook would have had a great opportunity to boost his stock and show coaches up close that he is a good dude. Instead he is going to sit at home and let those questions continue which will only hurt his stock.

I won't be pleased if we end up spending the 34th god damn overall pick on Connor Cook.

At this point I'll be surprised if Connor Cook goes that high. He basically ended the season in the worst way possible and instead of trying to rehab that by playing in the Senior Bowl he is sitting it out. I could see him being a third rounder now.

He'll probably be our guy. We sign one of the overhyped QB's in FA, decide to go defense in the first round and we'll nab Cook in the 2nd since he'll obviously still be on the board.

If we don't go QB in the first and don't get one of the top 3 QB's then I'd wait til at least the 3rd-4th for a QB. Don't like Cook and he'd be a waste with a high 2nd.

Maybe he was just afraid he'd be on Garrett's team

Nah, he's just probably a douche that is getting bad advice.

I don't understand why any player would turn down a chance in Mobile unless they knew they were going to be a top draft pick.

NFL types want competitive players. Not guys who think they are already at the pinnacle.

It is basically turning down a job interview.

So I don't know if anyone posted it but it sounds like this is the final list of QBs for the Senior Bowl:

Carson Wentz | North Dakota State | 6060 | 231

Jacoby Brissett | North Carolina State | 6040 | 235

Jeff Driskel | Louisiana Tech | 6040 | 234

Dak Prescott | Mississippi State | 6020 | 230

Cody Kessler | USC | 6010 | 215

Jake Coker | Alabama | 6050 | 232

Brandon Allen | Arkansas | 6020 | 210

Kevin Hogan | Stanford | 6040 | 225

Hogan is a very interesting addition in my opinion. Winning QB that plays in an NFL style offense who was asked to not do a whole lot passing the ball.
