We had the ball 1st and goal at the 3 after Dez's reception and couldn't get into the endzone. There are never guarantees. Frankly, it's retarded to suggest otherwise.

I don't think it is as easy to fall down at the 1 in traffic as some here do. There are arguments to each side though. But there were way too many other clock management decisions that were clearly wrong to worry too much about the TD, imo. Even if we just focus on McFadden, running out of bounds was a bigger mistake.

Nate Newton was on the radio yesterday and said Gary Brown goes over situations like that all season in practice with the RBs and DMac is told over and over whatever you do don't go out of bounds even if the play bounces it outside. He also said they don't coach to not get the TD.

It was obvious he knew that he should not have gone out of bounds but he did not have the body control to give up once he tried to get that get the 1st down.

With this offense, I think they'll take a TD anytime they can get one.

Even worse. They had it and lacked competence to use it. Mac falls down, that game ends, period.

1st and goal kneel
Wash TO
2nd and goal kneel
Burn 35 seconds
3rd and goal kneel
Dal TO with 5 seconds
Bailey ends it with a chip shot

Instead there's drama and we barely win.

Garrett is so far behind a master like Belichick it's scary.
