I get that there will not be massive changes.

Garrett is not getting fired.

Linehan and Marinelli either.

They were all just re-upped and we know Jerry hates to lose money on coaches since that is real money, not funny Goof Son money that can be moved around.

So...

What staff changes are needed?

I can tell you right now, we have serious coaching issues on this team.

And since the big three are untouchable, I go after QB, OL, secondary, WR and DL in that order.

Biggest issue with all of that is the idea that organizations rarely go after assistants and clean house. Main point being coordinators and head coaches prefer to work with coaches they know.

Any thoughts on how you would feel if the whole staff returned?

Shuffling deck chairs if it's not Garrett. But, I would take out Derek Dooley and not think twice.

No mention of Bisaccia? He's gotta go.
I think he has been out the door since Spurrier decided to go play golf. I guess he has been suggested as a hire there. Don't ask me why.

I would just clean house. Maybe Eberflus could survive as I think he has developed some LBers.

Ayuh. I was going to mention him.

Punt return & kickoff return yardage has been hard to come by.

I can only think of one big play from ST this year and that was the blocked punt against the Eagles. I guess you can throw the blocked FG against Carolina in there as well but other than that special teams as been pretty underwhelming.

Honestly I don't care.

If he wants to bring the same group of subpar/average coaches back more power to him. Just don't expect different results than you've seen from Garrett and crew....6 to 8 win seasons.

Here's the sad thing.

They could probably get Payton this off season if they wanted. He could kill with the pieces already in place on offense. He could even keep marinelli if Payton wanted and the defense would probably be good enough.

Add a QB of the future in the draft and add a good RB and we'd be very, very tough to beat for a good while. But we won't do it.

Like he will ever be on the hot seat.
Dick pill supplier.

Lifer since the days of Campo. More or less.

You might have a point.

He's not in the family portrait.

But he has Photobombed a few and that is good enough, donkey.

Too much money spent on this staff, so doubt Jerry changes anything.

That's the bottom line.

Just let them all be washed out next year after Garrett goes 4-12.
I would love to see Garret and every assistant gone and Jerry Jones' in-season radio appearances canceled.

But we all know the exact opposite is coming.
