Geno Smith didn't pack for two nights. His mom had to go out and buy him an outfit today.

Oh sure.Would anybody consider a QB in the fourth with these guys dropping?
You'll get a backup RB and like it.If we somehow got Greene, Schwenke or Barkley in the 4th it would be huge.
Well, I would like Stepfan Taylor but I feel like we'll get Knile Davis later instead. You'll get a backup RB and like it.
I would have rather taken one in the second round given we took another backup TE.Oh sure.
I'd do that in a second. That's a worthwhile developmental pick.
LATER? Why later, might as well take him now.Well, I would like Stepfan Taylor but I feel like we'll get Knile Davis later instead.
I heard they like Taylor. I expect he'll be our pick in the 4th, frankly.Well, I would like Stepfan Taylor but I feel like we'll get Knile Davis later instead.
And looky here, the Giants get Damontre Moore.
That's because we target players and when they are gone we panic and reach for next player at the position. A pure need draft will cause you to never get value with your picks.I actually think everyone Dallas picked are good football players and will contribute, many right away.
But we just find ways to take players at least a round earlier than they probably would go.
Last year Matt Johnson wasn't even ranked in most publications and we took him in the 4th.
Well put. They get fixated. These clowns fall in love with 3 or 4 guys predraft every year and then go out and reach and make trades to get them and then think they got their guys, outsmarted everybody else and fist bump in the war room.
I can't stand drafting need. I understand it at times, like this year we had to come away with at least one day 1 starter. But after that just take BPA. Instead they are looking for positions and are entranced by "upside" the chance to find a steal. That's because we target players and when they are gone we panic and reach for next player at the position. A pure need draft will cause you to never get value with your picks.
It was what we do.These clowns fall in love with 3 or 4 guys predraft every year and then go out and reach and make trades to get them and then think they got their guys, outsmarted everybody else and fist bump in the war room.
