You keep comparing us to the zone, and Brainpaint may escort your ass out.

The same girl who was hanging out with Nelly? You don't think there were other high paying men in her life? Besides, she probably did get some money as part of the civil suit settlement. It has nothing to do with the criminal trial though. The prosecutor was well aware of the civil suit settlement.
Whatever makes you feel better, dude.

I have an opinion on it, knowing this person's local reputation and I will just leave it at that.

I really don't give enough of a shit about it to debate it.

I think she took it. It seems pretty clear she took it. But if you want to assume she didn't, so be it.

This whole topic is so effing tired, I can't even begin to describe how boring it is right now when we are bleeding out a football season.

This is pretty much like one of those posts there where some guy starts dropping sports medicine knowledge. And some other guy actually debates something like this that they will never be privy to the real answer.

Someone today saw my Cowboys T-shirt and said I support domestic violence.

How did you respond? I think I might have went with a TD dance

Wow. I misread that and thought Phil responded with "I support domestic violence".

some say he never paid her. some say he never hit her. some say he hit her but she provoked it. some say he paid her to drop the threat of a civil suit and it was just a wacky coincidence that they couldn't locate her for the criminal trial. some say he's paid a steep price and has been "punished" enough. the difference between this place and the Zone gets narrower by the day.
It's almost like no one outside of 3-4 people really knows what happened that night.

Did she get money? Yes
Did that money legally bind here not to testify? No
Did that money "help" her have better things to do than testify? Probably

My conclusion is that she was out for money in the first place and once she got it she simply didn't care about the criminal trial because all it was going to do was create a lot of inconvinence for her so she jumped ship. This makes the most sense to me and fits the facts of the actual occurrence.

I endorse this explanation.
