I can't stand drafting need. I understand it at times, like this year we had to come away with at least one day 1 starter. But after that just take BPA. Instead they are looking for positions and are entranced by "upside" the chance to find a steal.
You almost always draft at need. You cannot go into a draft thinking "BPA"...there are economics that factor in.

We didn't "need" a WR, yet that was one of our better picks.

It is all about not forcing a pick for need. There is a difference.

At this point in the draft Barkley and Wilson are starting to look interesting to me. They have real NFL arms and the potential to be something in my opinion.
Drafting them would threaten Romo.

No can do.

hell im even intrigued by Nassib. I thought Glennon/Barkley would be the best developmental but Nassib is someone I wouldn't mind as a backup either

Three rounds in. Crap.

Who wants to bet we turn it around in rounds 4-6?

What an embarassment. Jones is Al Davis.
I have to say this every time someone makes this comparison.

There was a time when Davis was a great personnel man.

Can't same the same for the fucktard we have.

BPA within reason. But we never do that. When we do take BPA it's at a position of zero need. Most of the time though we just chase a need with no regard to value. They are such a joke.

Belicheck's son went to RU. They grab Rutgers players constantly.

I my opinion we drafted 3 good players today; the bigger issue remains Jones overriding the board yesterday. At least that's my take on this draft so far.

Escobar can play. That's not in question.

Can we use him properly? Now there's a scary question.
It still does not make him a good pick.

Is Ozzie Newsome wondering what roles his second round pick is going to do?

That is what a good GM does.

He has a real plan and an idea how each player can really make the team better.

Our thing is to feel good about potential and stuff.

Regarding the QB, I would be ok with drafting one in 6th or 7th, Renfree would be ideal. But I am not taking any of these QB's in the 4th.

We drafted talent. The problem is beyond that.

And the Rams just took Stedman Bailey to play along with Austin. Again.
