I bet the $45 G money is early on in the deal. This is a steal for the team.
It's a good deal for both sides. Well done by both Condon and Stephen.

It is a lot of money, but Dez doesn't strike you as the kind to get paid and fade away. He wants respect

Yep, he has worked way too hard to get to where he is now to sluff off.

Like I said, the guy is the safest bet we have on the team.

I have no issues with this deal.

I think the overall money is a steal for the team... I think the G Money and the term of the contract is great for Dez. He'll get to cash out again when he's 30.

But he may be asking for an extension after 2018.

Wow, that's a lot more guaranteed I figured he would get on a 5 year deal.
It's the amount guaranteed that I thought Dez would originally get but I originally thought he would sign for longer then 5 years. I'm not worried about the guarantee though because I fully expect Dez to play the next 5 years of his career in Dallas at a high level. He will be 31 when that contract expires and at 14 per it's a pretty damn reasonable deal so I don't really see him being a cap casualty or anything before then.

This is a great deal on both sides. Love that we have our best and most motivating player locked down. Now, we can focus on other things the next few offseasons

$45 mil is a "virtual" guarantee, not fully guaranteed. Signing bonus is $20 mil. Details of remainder isn't being reported yet... probably roster bonuses on 2016 and 2017.

Never a doubt in my mind.

Dez is one of a handful of players outside the QB position who deserve that type of money.

If you quote some sort of a TD/Reception ratio I may explode.
