You can't believe any of the pre-draft talk from GM's and front office guys, but I hope he's telling the truth.

I'd give a 3rd for AP, but nothing higher than that.
Yeah, you have to hope he's telling the truth.

And since I started my new job a year ago, I occasionally talk about what I hear on those daily team podcasts since I'm driving all the time listening to them, and I do think they have a bit of inside info as to what the players are doing and the locker room is doing, but those morons have been debating non stop about what is a fair price for Peterson and they are out of control.

That assclown Bryan Broaddus routinely browbeats the other people on the show into like, a fucking first and a third being reasonable, or a a second and a third, or two seconds, etc. That is the range they are talking about and he's saying he's ok with that price. In the alternative, he can't shut his fat pie hole about how we should trade up for Gurley or a CB. David Helman at leasts tries to put up some resistance to the idea, but apparently lacks the nerve to tell Broaddus he's out of touch with reality.

No wonder Football Jesus fired that fucking fraud of a scout. He wants to give away all his picks and he can't evaluate defensive talent for shit.

You should hear him. First and second to move up to 15 for a CB! It would be hilarious if it wasn't so infuriating that people that stupid are actually put in a position where others think they might be knowledgeable.

Oh shut up Dwayne. You had opportunities in Dallas. You just let Beasley take them from you.

Yet he will probably show up 4th on the WR depth chart.

Where does Harris get the notion that he's a receiver where he couldn;t beat out a small, slow white guy for the number 3 slot?

I even think Street was getting more reps this year.

So, he's going to take reps from Cruz or Randle? Good luck with that.

He's a 4th WR practically anywhere, I don't get what he believes his value is.

If he wanted to play WR he probably should have gone to a team that doesn't have any talent at WR.

I would not be surprised to see him put up Beasley type numbers, I think he could blossom like Bennett did with consistent targets.

I still think Beasley is a better fit for this team.

They have us taking DT Eddie Goldman, with Shane Ray falling to the Colts at #29. They're saying Ray will fall because of a toe injury he got in his bowl game. One specialist says he doesn't need surgery, just rest. Another says he does. And if he does, it will be a 3-5 month recovery. If he falls to us, I'd take him, and have him scheduled for surgery (if needed) the following morning.

I don't think they can get him surgery til he signs.

Either way, Ray doesn't interest me much except for the trade down possibilities.

I don't blame the majority of our free agents who bolted, guys like Harris, Murray and Carter were all grossly overpaid, can't blame them for taking the money in the short time frame they have to earn. If the rumors of the Raiders offering more guaranteed money than the Eagles are true, or whatever it was exactly, then I think it's kind of a jilited bitch move on Murray's part to go to Philly, but whatever.

Yeah although I'd much rather run in Kelly's offense then the Raiders. The misdirection and up tempo speed are going to give Murray far bigger holes then he'd ever see in Oakland. If the money was close I could see picking the Eagles.

But yeah other then Murray I kind of felt like all the guys we lost were side pieces that I didn't even know if they deserved to make the roster next year.

I don't agree with that. It's not like he took substantially less in choosing the Eagles. He still got paid a shit ton of money, (more than anybody expected) and went to a place with infinitely more chances to win than Oakland.

Yep. I think when it all washes out, the 8 or so million that the organization didnt want to pay Murray over a four year deal might cost them the opportunity to have a Lombardy trophy. That's the difference in 6 million a year they offered and the 8 million philly signed him for. I hope it doesn't turn out that way.

I doubt that Murray is the difference one way or the other.

:cry

Sorry but Murray was just not that special and his fumble in GB might have been the difference in getting that trophy last year.

See how that goes both ways.
