Cowboys will close season with John Parry as ref

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys will close the season Sunday against the Washington Redskins with John Parry as the referee.
It will be the second time the Cowboys have seen Parry this season. He called their Oct. 25 loss to the New York Giants in what was Matt Cassel’s first start. The Cowboys had seven penalties for 46 yards while the Giants were flagged three times for 13 yards.
Since 2010, the Cowboys are 2-4 in games with Parry as the referee. In the six games, the Cowboys have been penalized 47 times for 311 yards and their opponents have been called for 28 penalties for 201 yards.
Last week, Parry worked the Atlanta Falcons’ win against the Carolina Panthers. The crew called 13 penalties with seven accepted for 60 yards. The Panthers were called for four penalties for 40 yards, and the Falcons had three penalties for 20 yards.
