It is not that simple. The guy running the ball has to recognize those yards and get them. I swear, people think DLs just fall down in fear at our OL.

That didn't happen in the 1990s and it isn't happening now.

I thought I read/heard that they were looking for bigger DBs and that was one of the reasons that they wanted to move on from Boykins.

Dumb philosophy, IMO. If a guy can play I keep him around regardless of his size.

Sure and you act like Randle is blind or something.
Randle can squeeze through quickly in small seams. His biggest problem with the goal line will be having patience to find the crack. His gets to the line really fast.

you can go a long way in college on that idea but you run into some Darrell Green in the pros.
It's basically just being lazy. Instead of actually seeing how a guy plays you just automatically go with the bigger guys.
