Not over Warmack or Cooper, but over Pugh sure. Ironically Long and Fred are the only OL probowlers from the entire round.
That draft was so weak in high-end talent that teams over drafted OL as a kind of fallback.
Weak draft, high need == picking a guy earlier than projected. That's a reach.
Doesn't mean he can't or won't become an impact player, just that it was less likely.
Looking back, Dallas got the only player after Star Lotulelei was taken in the first round that I care for, so I'm glad they did reach.
