I think he'd step away before allowing himself to be fired. I think he's in the last year of his deal too.

The lack of confidence in our defense was all the excuse Garrett needed to go completely ape-shit. But the pattern was set long before the defense failed totally. The Detroit loss from a few years back with the team leading by three TDs was utterly mind-boggling and wasn't the fault of the defense.
