Report: Cowboys could trade for a running back

I'd just run Tanner before giving up a pick for a guy like LeShoure or Ingram.

Tate, Peterson, or MJD would interest me..... but I also refuse to give up anything higher than, as Carp said, like a 6th. And you know for sure that Peterson and Tate would not be moved for that price. MJD maybe if the Jags are just having a fire sale but you'd also think some team will outbid on that one.

Bottom line is that this team needs more cheap young talent, more than it needs a 30 year old running back. Obviously a back like MJD is worth more than what this team can afford to pay for him, in trade price and in salary.

So I doubt I'd do any deal that was offered.

They don't, that's why I think this is probably bogus. There are certain realities that exist and one is that we have no cap space and have run out of ways to magically create it.

Even Jerry can't be dumb enough to trade for a RB when your hand-picked wunderkind genius coach could give two shits about running the ball

I fear they are thinking DMac or Mark Ingram because they were in love with each before they were drafted.

Ingram sucks and DMac is a faster and possibly more injury prone DeMarco Murray.

Whatever we do, the pass pro has got to be better. Randle will get Romo killed.

Just go and draft another RB in the 4th round. RBs are a dime-a-dozen and have a short lifespan in this league.

Lacy or Michael over Escobar would have been nice.
