I think Pugh is underrated on this board.
I agree. When you hear about how people rave on his footwork, it completely trumps the short arm thing.

I think he's gone in the second, easy. Might end sneak into the tail end of the first if a team is looking for a versatile OL.

I'm sure he'd be happy to be drafted that high. We could even call him Peppy Le Pugh.

Only thing I can go by is the Senior bowl and he looked terrible, maybe he looks better on tape playing in a system but I can't see how a guy who was getting physically abused at the senoir bowl can make the 1st round.

It was also the first time he was asked to play guard from my understanding.

Yeah, I don't doubt he'll be gone in the second, my only problem with Pugh is his upper body strength. He needs to add to his frame. He could get pushed around in this league.

I see Mayock isn't buying into all the Nassib hype. He has him at 50.

There's been a lot of chatter out there about him being selected somewhere in the mid-first round range.

Mayock's QB history is a bit spotty.

Honestly, I think guys like Nassib and Tyler Wilson end up being better quicker than people like Geno Smith and Mike Glennon.

It's just odd that he didn't know who DJ Hayden was 10 weeks ago, and now he is his #1 CB. The guy is an information gatherer, not a scout. Which is fine, but stop sending him to pro days and pretending he is something different than he actually is.

I trust Mayock...he has been good the last few years. He is much more than an info gatherer.

There isn't a single pundit out there that is a scout. If he was, he'd be employed somewhere.

Hell, Broaddus was a scout, but if you read his Twitter feed, people ask him about prospects all the time and he responds, don't know, just started watching tape.

I don't love Mayock but it's hard to scout every football player in college football during the regular season. I'm guessing some of the lateness with that has to do with the fact that he didn't necessarily break down all of Hayden's film until later in the game.

The biggest shocker to me was where he had Jesse Williams. It is interesting because other than his workout on campus, nobody really has had him in for an official visit either.

Kind of strange as he does not have any character red flags that are evident.
