That's the absurdity of it all. They are pissing down our leg and telling us it's raining. That contract (and the overwhelming majority of RB contracts for that matter) is cap affordable for any team regardless of cap situation. It's absurd to suggest otherwise.

He was legitimately awful last year and he's on a bad contract. If they release him I'd be interested, but I wouldn't give up a draft pick for him on top of being on the hook for about 4 million a year for the next 3 years.

They're not interested because they'd have to pay him about 2 and a half mil for this year, and his 5th year option would have been over 6 million. Only so much pie.
