Garrett on Hardy's Cowboys future: He's a free agent

Dude had 6 sacks for his entire playing time. And his presence didn't let others get less attention. Teams were able to control him pretty much, 1 on 1. Did he back off the throttle once he realized the head coach was a pusc? Possible.

Garrett on Hardy's Cowboys future: He's a free agent

Fixed! Outside of the NE game, he was crap on toast.

Stephen Jones says the Cowboys would take franchise QB over impact player at 4

The problem is they think they've done that already, with Moore and a FA signing. Much like the RB situation last year, they think they "got this" with what we have.

Stephen Jones says the Cowboys would take franchise QB over impact player at 4

It's okay to grasp at any ole straw for hope. But history shows us these clowns can't cut it as managers. I have zero faith in them, regardless of what they say in media quotes.

Stephen Jones says the Cowboys would take franchise QB over impact player at 4

Well.... Far be it for them to actually take a QB at #4, this would be acknowledging Romo's days are numbered. And I don't think they are prepared to admit that - even to themselves - as yet.

Stephen Jones says the Cowboys would take franchise QB over impact player at 4

He is? Mean of me to point out, but he really wasn't exactly all that great last season before he broke his clavicle again. I don't think his back stands up to much defensive pressure scrutiny. I would be surprised if he makes it 8 games, on a good year for him. The fact that they still...

Gosselin: I don't think Cowboys draft QB at No. 4

I somehow missed that one too. Of course, I do make a habit of avoiding Jerry on TV and in print anyway.

Gosselin: I don't think Cowboys draft QB at No. 4

Ahh. That explains why I never heard of him saying he was comfortable with drafting one at #4. The rest of it could mean anything, from his harboring (at the time and still probably now) ideas of Johnny Futon and/or RG3, to just about any other FA out there, to even making a draft in the 3rd or...

Gosselin: I don't think Cowboys draft QB at No. 4

I haven't seen that one. I HAVE seen them saying a QB at 4 isn't urgent, or some such. Saying you're "comfortable" taking a QB at 4 isn't anything like saying it's necessary. Any idiot can see we need to do "more" at the QB spot, providing we interpret "more" as "better."

Gosselin: I don't think Cowboys draft QB at No. 4

If so, would they still be talking 4-5 years viability for Romo? They haven't said or done anything that shows ME that they understand the issue at all. Maybe they do, but I've seen or heard nothing from them to help me believe that.

    Abortion... yeah or nah?

I don't have any objection to abortion as a thing. For me it comes down to if abortion is a acceptable form of birth control. I knew a chick who'd had 15 abortions. For her, this was birth control. Apparently she didn't believe in "conception control." That's the rub - all forms of birth...

Gosselin: I don't think Cowboys draft QB at No. 4

He hasn't shown in any way that he does understand it. But, back to the main point - they simply think they are okay at the QB position, with Romo, Moore and possibly a FA veteran. It's the exact same mentality they had last year on running backs. They won't draft a QB at #4, or in any of the...
