Unless you want to admit the NFL is rigged against us,

I dunno. Do something. Do some kind of referee intervention program. Have them throwing flags at every damn practice.

If nothing, for optics.

What in the hell would throwing flags at practice accomplish? The actual game refs that do our live games wouldn't be there. Even you have to admit every fucking game we've played over the last few years there are multiple VERY questionable penalties called against us. Every. Fucking. Game.

If you want to say the NFL is rigged against us, so be it. Maybe it is. Who knows. But it's pretty damn obvious they are more flag happy against us than any other team in the NFL. It's pretty God damn hard to deny at this point.

I think we need to find a way to stash Lindstrom.

The players apparently are so amped up that they lack discipline.

Who the fuck is in charge? You know what, that is supposed to be our fat head coach, who is trying to slim down.

Lookit, Fat Mike did some things right in Green Bay.

But he had Rodgers and of course, us to be the clowns.

I just don't see the players supporting him. Quinn has that juice.

This is all moot. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with when they throw a damn flag on a perfectly clean hit on the QB as he's releasing the ball. Dude didn't lead with his helmet. Didn't hit him high. Didn't hit him low. Didn't hit him late. Didn't launch. Just hit him hard. As he was releasing the ball. Like you're supposed to. Yet we get the 15 yard penalty when they should have been punting. And it has nothing to do with lack of discipline or being amped up. Or stupid. How does Fat Mike fix that shit?

If Bonitto were our 2nd round pick, I would be a little concerned.

He is a lot like Sam Williams. That kid made some mental mistakes that will have to be corrected.

On one hand, the game doesn't count so what's the point, on the other, we got called for more penalties than any other team in the league the first week of preseason and about half of them were pure horse shit.

The roughing the passer on Williams was one of the worst calls I've ever seen, the Basham roughing the passer was laughable, at least the first Smith penalty was very borderline as the guy started falling down on his own, they called an offside on Williams because he twitched but didn't actually move forward, the holding that took away the Pendershot big catch was borderline, and that's just off the top of my head.

Whatever it is, McCarthy has to get it fixed because he's going to get fired if they're one of the most penalized teams in the league again.

I'll ask you the same question... I get that we get too many penalties that are deserved. And they do need to be cleaned up. But how in the hell is he supposed to fix the ticky tack and outright bullshit calls that go against us week after week?

I have no clue because I see us consistently called for stuff that I see ignored in other games, but he's still going to get fired if it happens considering the ridiculous avalanche of penalties in that 49ers game.
