Bummer that Grier can't play. Rush is spare and DiNucci is still terrible.

It’s just a practice. I’m not worried about one practice. The good coaches don’t coach to win a practice. They use the practice to test out OL combos, packages on defense, etc. Same thing with preseason games. That’s why I don’t give one shit about win or loss in those games.

Um, I specifically remember two TDs for sure. Plus we scored one on defense (they said, it wasn't shown).

I didn't watch the scrimmage. True or false?

I don't know what Hill is talking about. There were a few typical training camp skirmishes like you see every year. The offenses ran plays against the defenses. If anything I don't think we learned a whole lot.

Don't think Smith has gotten a single snap with the ones so far. All McGovern. And a couple times he and Biadasz got worked. They need to get the kid up to speed.

As soon as I post that, 73 gets in there.
One of the guys from the Cowboys site (Eatman I think) said he's heard it's more about McGovern needing LG reps when Tyron inevitably misses some time, which would imply that the plan is to start Tyler at LT.

They seem to be giving Ball a bunch of reps at LT (and he's looked horrific) so I wouldn't be surprised if they were planning on seeing who looked better, McGovern at LG (which would have Tyler shift to LT) or Ball at LT while keeping Tyler at LG.

I think it's pretty obvious that Ball can't play in real games at this point, it'd be a Brandon Knight/rookie Terrence Steele type disaster.

They need to think long and hard about signing a vet swing OT because Ball ain't it right now and Waletzko seems headed for a redshirt year, and it was always a stupid fucking idea in the first place to bank on either of them to play this year anyway.

The feed from the team site seemed mostly focused on our offense so I'm not sure how the defense did, but I saw what seemed like at least two TD's, one to Schultz and one to Lamb.

Ultimately none of this really matters and we have to keep in mind that these beat writers have no clue what they're looking at for the most part, but I did see Lamb bobble and drop a routine crossing route across the middle that supposedly would've been a 1st but killed the drive.

He's really talented and will put up numbers but I just don't trust the guy as our number 1, combine that with them seemingly banking on Noah Brown starting off as our WR3 next to a rookie in Tolbert, and I think the passing game is going to look like shit early on.

If Dak can average something like 300 yards, 2 TD's and 1 INT without Gallup with a .500ish record you might as well just extend him now.
