Yeah if someone hires Moore as this genius offensive coordinator I think McAdoo is the favorite. And it would be a lazy comfort hire for McCarthy.

I'd be interested in someone like Ken Dorsey if I was looking outside of the box. But the Cowboys won't. Still it another great college QB, flamout NFL player who at least has put his time in to earn the opportunity.
McAdoo is Fat Mike's protege. It would be a nepotism hire. Even if Moore stays, the Muppet will have more than a consultant role next year.

Yeah just feels lazy and the guy kind of looks borderline retarded if I'm being honest. He did good as the Giants offensive coordinator but was awful as their head coach.

It is also dumb if they are concerned about Prescott having to learn something new.

He comes from the Andy Reid tree and so he may be a good fit.

Kafka? No no no no no no. No more inexperienced coaches.

Yeah feels a lot like Kellen Moore to me so I probably wouldn't. I was just glancing at names. For the most part you look to pluck an assistant off a team with a really good offensive coordinator. I love what the 49ers offense does for example or the Rams but I have no idea what assistants they have worth a shit.

A week ago, the NFL was lambasted by Covid. Now no one's testing positive. Weird.
Its gone back to being labeled as the flu. There is no rules regarding the flu.

If Mike gets fired, what are the odds Jerry does his due diligence and interviews a Harbaugh or Flores? I say less than zero.
I think Mike is safe. I am hoping Kellen gets hired away. If I had to bet, Quinn goes Somewhere unless he really does dig being the savior on defense and not having the responsibility for the whole team.

Colt Mccoy, Chad Henne, Chase Daniel, Bryan Hoyer, and Blaine Gabbert kind of fit the bill if they are ready to give up their dreams

Yeah, and I get that Dak is a 40 million dollar QB and expected to be able to Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady things but ultimately if we want to win games we should try to make things easier on Dak. And looking at the win loss records in Dallas it's pretty obvious Dak is at his best when he has a run game and is able to then pick a defense apart. So that would be my goal this offseason. Get at least a good consistent run game. Or at least one that a defense has to respect.
Which means invest in a ridiculous OL and multiple strong RBs (instead of 4th overall picks).

But, also don't forget 2017-2018 proved Dak needs great WR targets, too, so draft and/or pay for those.

And after all that insane investment on offense, we're still not going anywhere without a serious defense, so make that (somehow) happen too.

Bottom line, there isn't money enough for all of it. The cap won't allow it.

THIS was the year. Dak FAILED. Utterly.

You have to win at the draft, sign perfect FA's, AND have your QB be elite. He ain't.

What is it Dak brings again beyond being a warm body at the position? The dude had an unbelievable supporting cast, but the book was out on him since Denver and we couldn't fix it despite our talent. Game over.

Elite opposition or even any strong defense will end him every time.

We're fucked at the game's most important position for three more years unless Dak somehow miraculously improves-- which historically just isn't going to happen now in year seven.

Maybe if we had a Belichick-level coach to cover his weaknesses. Only one of those, unfortunately.

Pretty idiotic to place all the blame on Dak when we couldn't pass protect against 4 or run against 7 dropping into coverage, with a coaching staff who couldn't figure out an answer after 2 months of seeing it. There's no QB in the league who is going to win a SB on a team that can't do at least one of those against a very simple defensive look.

Vrabel and Tannehill are #1 seed and much of it achieved without Derrick Henry.

49ers went to Super Bowl with Garoppolo recently.

It can be done with Prescott.

Two problems, we don't have an electric speed guy to run the jet sweep on these and we don't do it enough to make the defense think Dak could turn around and hand it to the sweep guy.
They probably won’t ever do it and for good reason but it would be fun to watch Parsons run one sometime.

I would say 4 years is not the worst part.
Yeah I know, Dak sucks and all. But we don't really have alternatives and he is still a top 10 QB. I'd rather have Dak than to be in the boat most NFL teams are. I would love him at a cheaper price relative to the cap but that's never going to change in the NFL. I doubt we will find the next Rodgers or Brady over the next 4 years.
