I don't think your brain works like Jerry or Stephen Jones. If they can't get Prescott signed long-term they had better do everything they can to trade him and make a move for Wilson.

Yea no shit, neither of them know dick about how to strategically build a football team.I don't think your brain works like Jerry or Stephen Jones.
That’s the title of Dak’s agent’s briefing to the Jones’So.......who's the QB if not Prescott? Some retread, or do we think we get lucky again in the draft?
Looks like Wentz and Goff will be stupid moves as well. Elliot deal is looking shaky as well. So what’s your point? You do realize that Wentz, Goff and others got deals, right?
Are you one of those people who blame agents?
And in reference to the Elliott deal, I am damn sure bringing that up if I am Todd France.
Pay Wilson pretty much the same money Dak wants AND give up draft picks for him?If they can't get Prescott signed long-term they had better do everything they can to trade him and make a move for Wilson.
The assumption is that Prescott turns down roughly 38-40/year, or they can't get him signed at that amount for whatever reason. If he plays out the season on the tag he is very likely gone next year unless they break the bank and pay him even more than they already would have to right now.Pay Wilson pretty much the same money Dak wants AND give up draft picks for him?
No thanks.
Not interested. The assumption is that Prescott turns down roughly 38-40/year, or they can't get him signed at that amount for whatever reason. If they played it right I'm sure they could trade Dak to a QB-needy team for at least a first and change, and then turn around and flip that and a few more picks for Wilson, who is controlled for 3 more years and is a better QB in the first place.
You get slightly better at QB and lose the picks you need to fix the rest of the roster. Seems like you end up like the Seahawks are now. Shitty roster with a great QB.Not interested.
Yep. The net gain isn’t big enough. You get slightly better at QB and lose the picks you need to fix the rest of the roster. Seems like you end up like the Seahawks are now. Shitty roster with a great QB.
Oh, look. Chris Broussard on Fox Sports Radio is discussing Dak’s lack of wins and empty calorie stats RIGHT NOW.
But hey, they never talk about his losses and empty stats.
Oh, and they just mentioned his 6-20 record against teams with winning records.
Whether you or anyone else value or don’t value the opinions of the hosts, I was pointing out the regularity and the content of them talking about it since people seemed to have selective memories on it.Do the stats actually bear that out or is it just another dumb shit talking out of his ass as usual?
Because the stats posted above and my own eyeballs tell a different story.
Sorry but Chris frigging Broussard doesn't move the needle for me. These network talking heads are beyond worthless for the most part.
As for his record against winning teams, that's a legit concern. I'd argue that fixing the defense and coaching will go a long way towards rectifying that, but the jury is still out on that.
Elway dragged those “mediocre players” to THREE SUPER BOWLS.Remember when John Elway used to be called overrated and only had “empty” stats? That he couldn’t win the big game?
Funny what happened when he finally got a supporting cast and didn’t have to drag a bunch of mediocre players along with him.

Don’t ever compare Dak Prescott to John Elway again. Ever.
