Turd has shown he can get open in the intermediate pass range. Throw him those because he is old man Witten after the catch. No reason at all to throw him those check downs or screens unless it is to get a very short first down or in the end zone.

I can’t stand Schwartz but I will say the guy always had defenses with an attitude to them.
Eberflus is fucking terrible….just so many basic things missing from his defensive playcalling that you can’t let go by the boards next season.

If we had a real coach and a real GM, Eberflus and the ST coach would have been gone this morning. No accountability is a breeding ground for lackluster effort and drive. Which is what we see quite a bit out of this team in games that should really be easy W’s.

Yes. I honestly don't think it would be any worse than this year.

But of course if it's me I'd sign a solid OT FA. Maybe there's a Cardinal that will shake loose that Clayton can work with.

And if it's me, there's zero chance, and I mean zero, that I'd ignore the defense in the state that it's in so that we can shoehorn yet another 1st rounder on the OL.

Yeah, fuck dropping 1st round picks on the OL. You can afford to do that when you are somewhat solid on both sides of the ball, but we are nowhere close to that.
It’s truly amazing, especially to anyone who has played organized football at any level how Jerry and his ilk ignore the defensive side of the ball. While it’s nice to have a high flying offense WTF does that matter if you are giving up 30-40 points a game or need a stop to win a game?
I’m still in complete shock that the hillbilly crowd actually went out a got 2 very good DTs after years of ignoring the position. Now it looks like because there’s suddenly good play at DT, let’s ignore the LBing problem we have. Fucking inbreds.

So what happens if you call a fair catch and no one blows the whistle? Like do you just stand there and get blown up? I'm honestly confused by the penalty. Once you signal a fair catch you can't move your feet? What constitutes a violation? Just blow the whistle.
