There's a very good chance we win this one and the betting movement since the Raiders game shows that.

But even before the Raiders game I said I liked this spot for us, if they can avoid killing themselves with turnovers and penalties I like our chances.
I don't think there is a massive talent gap. But defensive coaching has been a massive difference. And obviously Williams has only been here one game. But current rosters and talent, I don't see any big advantage.

When you look back to game one, I know it was a new season, the Cowboys had every chance they could to win that game, the defense actually in the 2nd half held them to 3 points and unfortunately Sanders fumble, and all the drops by everyone I think there were like seven official drops in that game, cost us the 2nd half and truly cost us the game in my opinion,

so yeah I think the Cowboys actually have improved since then maybe both teams are slightly different but being at home should give us the edge...

I know how it is, don't want to get your expectations up and all, but just remember that all things are possible through Christ as your Savior.

For the record, I'm not saying it's impossible we win, but I also don't think there's "a very good chance".

Half their games have been decided by 6 points or less and they have only 1 win by double digits-their 2nd game vs. NYG.

I would say it's more of a coin flip. At least that's where I'm at. I feel better about it than the Chiefs and Lions games to come.
Pretty much how I feel. I would not be surprised in the least if we beat the eagles. The Chiefs have been struggling, but I'd still be surprised a little if we beat them. But they are beatable. And I think we'd have to play a near perfect game along with some bounces going our way to beat the Lions.

I agree with it being a coin flip, which I think is still "very good" odds in general.

If I thought we were going to whip their asses I'd be singing a different tune.

If the thinking is that the Eagles aren't amazing, I agree.

But until last week we had one of the worst defenses I've ever seen and we got destroyed by teams like Arizona.
Yes but even though people like to make fun of this sort of logic, we legitimately have 3-5 starting caliber players we didn't have as of the Arizona/Denver embarrassments.

Including a top 3ish DT in the league, that's not insignificant.

If we had Williams from week 1 I don't think we'd be any worse than 6-4 and we'd be talking about this game as a good chance to basically get even at the top of the division.

What is their depth like? @Simpleton Does this create real problems for them?
They've struggled offensively lately because Jurgens has been out (I believe he missed a few games and then came back vs. Detroit) and because Johnson has been in and out of the lineup the last two games.

Fred Johnson backs up Lane and is ok as a backup but obviously he's no Pro Bowler, and they have a guy backing up Jurgens who basically never played center until this year.

I also don't think there has been a point this year where they've missed two starters at the same time.

So yea, it's an issue, and their offense wasn't even great prior to them missing time. Our defense isn't as good as Green Bay's and maybe not Detroit's as it was last week (they were missing basically their entire secondary) but I can guarantee you they won't be holding our offense to 10ish points like they did Green Bay and Detroit either.

Thanks for not asking me, ass.

Anyways, It is either Brett Toth, a dude that has hung around forever like he is Big Dom’s drinking buddy or shift Dickerson over, which would be a first for him, I believe. Or Willie Lampkin who I like but he is not ready for the monster interior that is now activated.

They've been playing Toth when Jurgens has moSed time, which seems less than ideal against our specific personnel.
