With the Jets seemingly listening to offers on Quinnen Williams and this rando Twitter guy who somehow nails trades ahead of time saying we're probably going to trade for a DL, what would you be willing to give up for Williams?

For me he's not quite in the same tier as Crosby, but not far below it, so I'd still be fine giving up a 1, although just the Packers 1 unless they're also throwing in his brother.

Throw Osa into the trade. He’s a complimentary/rotational player, not a true lead interior defender

I never bought into him getting 20 mil per year just based on PFF stats.

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

Part of the price of being a Cowboy.
Those same fans are still the ones who will show up on Sundays and overpay for Pepsi, beer, and season tickets…..all while believing the next hopeful line of bullshit out of Jerrys mouth

Yeah, I didn't like that deal we gave Osa at all.

Never really got the hype with this guy.

I'd be curious to see how teams around the league value him.

Not sure I'd do a 1+Osa but a 2+Osa is a no brainer.

Been keeping an eye on Mike Green. Seems to be heating up at same time as EZ. So far looks pretty even.

1.5 sacks to 1

It takes some patience with young pass rushers. I fully believe that EZ will get there. I also believe that Green will eventually get there. I just think both guys are too talented not to.

Definitely think EZ is figuring some things out. He has caught my eye the past two games.

One play he destroyed Denver's RT, but missed the sack because Nix threw the ball as soon as it was snapped back to him.

Even in run defense he seems to be one of the few guys actually holding his gap and being in the right position. I watch all these other guys Fowler, Simple Sam and Kneeland and they are so far out of position it's disgusting. They look like dogs chasing a goddamn ball. It's why you saw like three D-lineman all running into each other on a play. Half these guys aren't playing assignment football at all. It's not because they are being pushed out of their gap, they are just taking the path of least resistance.

There were several times where the rush won quick but it didn't matter because the ball was out within 2 seconds.

Of course there were also plenty of times where Nix had about 6 seconds to throw, so hey.

Agree, I've been surprised how he has held up in the run. Seems like one of the only guys with a clue a lot of the time when he's in. If only he were fuckin' bigger so he could play more. But then he'd probably been a top 10 pick.

He's so full of shit.

Edit: for anyone who doesn't want to click on it, Jerry is talking about the report where he said he's doing oil deals instead of fixing the defense.

His contention is that making money on the side helps the cowboys win games. He also claims that everyone in football does these types of things. Lastly, he says that talking on the radio helps them score touchdowns.

Most owners are not GMs. Most GMs aren't too busy doing billion dollar oil deals.
