Yeah he doesn't really move the needle for me. Fifth year guy who has never been more than like a 6-7 sacks a season type player. Has dealt with injuries. Throwing him in the mix is just like hey, here is another guy with potential, lets throw more shit at the wall and see what sticks.

Cutting him outright next offseason will save around $13M, if they do the June 1 thing it might be around $15-16M.

That would slot in real nicely as a first year cap hit on a 4-year Pickens deal.
