Kneeland is a great pick, I had him 9th on my list coming into the 2nd round. He's the exact type of DE we need with light ass Parsons running around and he's a seamless replacement for Lawrence when he's done in a year or two. All the media draft guys had him around 40 or so, Brugler had him in the 30s.

I definitely didn't think they had a pick like that in them.
@Cotton , tell this guy to calm down.

So what do we want now, hope for the backs to be available, or go LB or C?

Some shows I listened to today said we really like Puni from Kansas. Maybe more for the second third, though?
I hope we go LB with Wilson or Colson, but would be fine with one of the RBs. Corley could be a wild card.

Sneaky big need.

I said the other day I wanted to go all oline and dline other than 1 RB, so this is fine by me.
We desperately need DT also, IMO. Just not sure there were any worthy ones at that last pick. We at least have some young OL in the pipeline, even if they aren't world beaters.

I'm all about Benson or Lloyd at RB with our first pick. And would be just fine with Puni with our second (I reserve the right to change my mind depending on who's there.)

I don’t know much about these players these days but this seems like the type of pick they should be going for in the second round. Not a fuckin generic TE like they did last year. Any time a team goes LB/OL/DL in the early rounds I feel like it’s the right decision.

I really like those two LBers. Was hoping for Benson with our last pick then Corley with our next. Never expected to take Kneeland, so never even considered it.

Yeah the DTs have been picked pretty good. Dorlus is good but only 283 pounds. Carter is good but it's too rich for him. McKinnley Jackson is a DT I actually love and think is underrated. But everyone would scream reach of we took him now.

I did not think he was their "type".
