Rosen at least had some elite moments/games in college.

I can't recall a single "WOW!" game by JJ McCarthy. I've always viewed him as more of a nice steady QB in the mold of Alabama QBs during the early years of the Saban era.

Even in their big games over rivals like PSU and OSO, it always felt like McCarthy got the 2000 Ravens Trent Dilfer treatment. Meaning they didn't ask him to do too much. They just asked him to play conservative and manage the game.

We'll see how it plays out. I won't be completely shocked if he ends up going top 10 because teams do go full retard when they're desperate for a QB.

From what I have seen of him, he has at least 10 year clipboard holder and unpaid QB coach one day in his future.

I've seen Ryan Leaf on NFLN's morning show on more than once occasion.

Based on attracting viewers, you'd think he'd be in the top 10 of ex-QBs you wouldn't have on your show.

This is one of the rare years I actually wouldn't mind seeing the Cowboys trade out of the 1st round. With all these massive contracts coming due over the next year or two, stocking up on some extra picks might be the best path to mitigate a likely salary dump of pricey vets.

Drafting a decent center I could go along with, but they will do something stupid, like the best CB available.
