Yeah, there's probably a lot of truth to that. The left definitely wants to raise and indoctrinate your kids.
The sad part is that the left-controlling education system will not stop.

When you have the role of teacher being underpaid, it will continue to be filled by the underqualified and also disgruntled. It is really tough to deal with people's stupid ass kids.

It used to be a profession that had honor. Right now, it is a damn horror show.

This is all over our supply chain. It is designed to promote consumer buying behaviors.

The State of New York is urging residents and visitors to "plan to stay in one place for the day," as traffic was expected to be overwhelming.

"Shelter in place" is back. :doh

Why would you need to stock up on food for a freaking eclipse?
It is part of marketing the event.

National retailers in the area are encouraging consumers to treat it like a holiday.

Stock up on hot dogs and the fixings like it is the 4th.

Watch for the sales.

You'll see.

They are expecting an influx of 100k in our area for the week. A lady that works in the Chamber of Commerce was working in Tennesse when the last one happened several years and saw it first hand.

Yep. We have been instructed that we cant take a day off during that time and Im worried about even being able to get to work. Not to mention that there is a huge empty field in front of where I work and Im sure that im going to have to chase them off the property.

Make it a tailgate.
Thats what is going to happen. Cars. Trucks. RVs. Along the highway and any field they can find. The Hotels in the area have been booked solid for months now. Even reports of one hotel canceling a reservation for someone and reopening it at a much higher price when they realized what weekend it was for (could be just a rumor).

I live in a town of 38k and this influx of people they say are going to affect the one grocery store that we have like the Covid outbreak.

Not looking forward to the trash left behind. The illegal RV dumping. The amount of tin foil hats.
