This is the real problem. You can't try to sign a guy early and lowball him. If I remember Dak's initial offer the first time around was like 25 mil a season. You do that and you're just motivating a player to bet on themselves and nail you for as much as possible. You have to offer them...
I mean I'm glad. Signing one old vet and getting a rookie back off injury hardly solves the problem when we basically had 1 LBer on the roster by the end of last year. To bad we don't have more picks. We could really use numbers at so many positions.
