Was this typical Dak, or was tonight worse than typical Dak?
Tonight was the down part of the ups and downs he’s had since coming back last year after Rush put on a show against Minnesota.

Up one week, down the next.

The defense is and should championship caliber for a few more years. Especially if Damone Clarke is for real and Anthony Brown comes back ok.

Zeke is just done at this point. Dak is what he is but now we just need to try to be better around him on offense. We need an imposing run game to make this work.
2014-2015, Zeke feasted on bouncing plays outside.

Last several weeks, he's purposely cut plays back up the middle for minimal gain. Red zone tonight and he did it.

I'm tired, so I'll just say it's not good.

Not when it comes to stepping up against top opponents or in the playoffs. He looks good against poor competition but royally shits the bed against good teams.
He's inconsistent which is an issue. He played real good as a rookie vs Packers in playoffs. Last week plenty of people thought we were going to lose and be played well.

He's going to be our QB for a few more years so get some damn WR's in here, don't have Zeke, etc.

this wasn’t on McCarthy they were ready to play. Our QB leads the league in picks.
The offense was not ready to play, He is the offensive guy and he overseas Kellen Moore and allows the shit Moore calls on the field. After the first drive he reverted back to Garrett-esch again.

If I'm you @Smitty , when you're kid wakes up, present him with a Carolina Panthers jersey or whatever the local team is.
I will be honest, I’m pushing hockey and so far it’s working. He’s into football but he’s more into hockey. Of course not like I chose wisely there either, the Rangers have won 1 Cup in 80 years.

He has WRs. He chooses to throw the ball to not his WRs.

I’d say you’d have better results singing some defensive backs to play WR so he’s more comfortable.

Gallup a complete no-show, save for the pass Dak overthrew.
There was a time when I was legitimately weighing whether I would prefer to re-sign either Gallup or Cooper if we could only afford one of them. Ie it was really a question in my mind.

Gallup has been a complete JAG. He had 39 catches this year as the putative #2 WR.

I hope he’s still recovering because another performance like this season’s and I’m cutting him. And I’m definitely ready to say that we chose incorrectly between him and Cooper.

I’d rent Rogers for a few years while you look at finding your future QB.
Garoppolo goes down and the Future steps in.

Prescott goes down and then we sent the Future back on the bench. amirite

Adding nothing to the conversation as usual.

We were wondering if Lamb's past production was benefitting too much from Cooper's presence.

So what does that make Gallup playing next to Cooper & Lamb?

Nope, here's your big money, MG.

I don’t have any illusions of Cooper Rush being anything other than a career back up, but when your backup wins games and doesn’t turn the ball over with any regularity, there’s something there.

I love you tho.
