Predicting three of us would go into cardiac arrest if that happens
Think both defenses will largely control this game and it comes down to the better QB.
We've all bagged on Dak at times, and rightfully so, but I believe Purdy will look like a rookie come Sunday, think Hankins helps slow down McCaffrey somewhat, and the defense contains Kittle. Deebo will get his but I trust Diggs for the most part on him.
Main thing is, if Dallas can handle SFs DL up front Dak can take advantage of SFs less than stellar CBs. Think Lamb has like 8 recs for 100 yards.

To me, this is a game for the defense. Not matter what, Purdy is Mr. Irrelevant when you look at it.

Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former last pick in the draft, now about to become their next great one.

Their job is to make him look like it, end of story. Remember Miracle Romo's first playoff game? Pete fuckin' Hunter was a starting corner in that game.

They did a great job of confusing Brady with a lot of multiple looks, and that bodes well to do it to a rookie.

I also would hope that Quinn knows enough about Shanahan's kid to get the job done. It was not like they killed us last year, we just played like pussies.

The offense has their part too, now.

We just can't have another get Pollard whatever and then 2 yards per carry from Elliott.

Keeping their opportunities smaller and using a complex defensive gameplan is one of the ways we can win this game.

Zeke is done. I mean DONE. He is a zero add on the football field now. He brings nothing. How the fuck does that happen to a 27 year old?

A fat gene that does not manifest itself until the mid-twenties and probably an over-protective mother?

I really don't think the guy works nearly as hard to be in shape as he has to be. He is not a machine.

Maybe what he does and how he took care of himself worked in college but it is clear he is not a top level athlete in this league.

I don't think his mileage and abuse is extreme either. Yeah, he should be on the downside, but his has been a dramatic drop, like almost to the point you want to give those reps to a younger back who can manufacture yards.

He's a talent that fizzled very early. His body is shot and once the wheels go, you better have something else, like vision, to compensate.

He does not have vision. He never really has if you look back at his college career.

The team would be better off giving Davis the Zeke carries.

It is a problem because it is hard to take a high profile player's touches down in the playoffs.

I think the running scheme we have is pretty simplistic too though.

Look at our run design versus teams like the Eagles, Ravens, and especially the 49ers.

They are mostly zone-based, use multiple backs and are complex. We are not a RB-friendly offense.

It is also hard to call the same plays from the same design, but the RB in the game at the time tells the keys.

Elliott just is too different of a runner to have that flex capability.

The whole idea is to be able to do whatever you want from the same formations, run or pass.

Zeke is just too slow. He can still be good between the tackles but the Bucs are too stout up the middle. Against a team where you need to threaten the edges he is useless. The good news is he has looked pretty good against the Eagles this year. So if we can get past the 49ers, Zeke may have one more really good game ahead of him.

Too bad the Vikes couldn't win. If we were playing the Eagles this week I would say we have a 50/50 shot at winning. I might even feel like we are better than 50/50.

The 49ers though, I'm basically hoping Purdy shits himself to give us a chance. Get a lead and those turds will have to abandon the dink and dunk orchestrated offense and actually have to rely on Purdy to be a real NFL QB. Their defense is so good though, it's hard to jump out to a lead.

I actually give the Giants a great chance of beating the Eagles. The Giants played a hell of a game against the Vikings, and D Jones looked like a legitimate QB throwing the ball-and his running was even better.

Yea weird things happen in division matchups in the playoffs, especially one where a team like the Eagles are coming off a bye and their regular season finale was also against the Giants.

Throw in the Hurts injury and Lane Johnson at less than 100% and it could definitely get interesting if the Giants get a break or two.

Yeah could be. Either way the 49ers are the toughest opponent left in the NFC. If we can pull this off, we have a legit shot at the Superbowl.

Kind of crazy the level of QBs left in the playoffs. I think Dak is by far the most experienced, seasoned and yes talented in the NFC. Hurts has had a better year but I'd still take Dak over him 10/10 times.

Dak is the oldest QB left in the playoffs by 2 years. Knocking out Brady dropped the average age down to 26.5.

Yeah, the AFC sort of is stacked at QB but I forget how young all those dudes are. The NFC doesn't have that.

The NFC is ridiculously weak at QB and that doesn't look like it'll change much unless Stroud or Levis turns into a stud.

We have a real opportunity over the next 2-3 years, I just wish the front office would make a legit FA move every once in a while.

At this point, I have given up hope that the Jones tards will act like a normal football operation and go out and grab the little few pieces left to get this core of talent over the top.

Yeah, imagine if we just went all in the way the Eagles did.
