Yep, so she wasn't having to buy you shoes as often.

Guaranteed you’ll rewatch it once you see it.

As they said on Saturday Night Live one time: “Look at the unit on that guy”

:lol:lol:lol:lol

I agree with this. Don't fucking skip Thanksgiving. Pisses me off.
Dude we have Christmas shit up all over town, it’s 68 degrees here, and no one has said a damn thing about Thanksgiving.

I have said it before but I absolutely hate when people skip Thanksgiving.

At least it has snowed here. Bare minimum it has to get into November. Our tradition used to be to put the tree up the weekend after thanksgiving. Our kids are grown so now it is whenever the wife feels like it.

you do you, but I hate the commercialization of holidays that has become preparing for the holiday after next. We will start seeing Valentine’s Day stuff next month. It’s demented.

How much did a domestic flight cost back then, adjusted for today’s dollars?

Generally today, California to New York is ~$200 one way economy and ~$1,000 first class.

If back then was ~$1,000, you can still get the Braniff experience today, just not for $200

I’m also curious about how large the bathrooms were back then. The Mile High Club in today’s lavatories has got to be a challenge even for contortionists.

Dunno, but the flip flops-tanktop crowd couldn't afford to fly ... which was nice.
