I just realized I am going to be out of town at a conference for the season opener. I should get to my destination easily before kickoff, so I can find a bar to watch it at. Which could be kinda cool, but I won't be chattering much. This may be the first time in my professional life I have been on the road on a gameday.

I think Brown can be an ok possession type, basically another TE who will operate within about 10-12 yards. I foresee a good number of 6 yard dump offs from Dak to Brown.

Hopefully all this Gallup hype is real and he only misses 1-2 games because our offense is going to be the opposite of explosive with Brown and Elliott seemingly about to play 75% or so of the snaps.

Our only hope is Pollard popping a few 20+ yard plays.

If I were a defender I'd press the shit out of him and jump every short route. Brown is slow and not explosive. Hell as a Dcoordinator I'd know I could probably get by with a safety on him.

Maybe teams won't catch on for the start of the season but it seems like it would become easy to defend.
