Cowboys re-signed CB Sterling Moore.

TE Andre Smith was waived in a corresponding roster move. With Morris Claiborne (hamstring) ruled out for Thursday's game against the Raiders, Moore provides an extra body at the back end of Dallas' secondary. He was waived at final cuts.
Fuck Claiborne.

Fuck Claiborne.
This guy should've been here all along.

And I actually like the way Claiborne has been playing when he's on the field this year. Hopefully, next year he gets 100% healthy.

The hamstrings have become an epidemic.

Is there any strength and conditioning explanation? Are we overdoing/underdoing something?

I think him coming back in a cold weather game is the biggest reason he popped it...not playing for a few games, couple with it being tougher to get loose in low temps was concerning. At least Ware and Hatcher came out ok.

Not sure if this is true or not, but someone told me that Mike Leach doesn't believe in stretching the lower half of the body; he prefers to warm up with a series of increasingly strenuous jogging sessions, then jogging backwards, then side to side. He says that stretching is unnatural for most muscle groups.

So, maybe we over-stretch, or Is Mike Leach a loon?

I don't believe in stretching to the extent of the old school guys. Stretching cold is a huge no-no.

Warm up the legs slowly with a series of drills with short stretching movement mixed in.

Static stretching is a time waster and more harmful than good. Dynamic warm ups is where its at.

I've been doing this for 7-8 years without any of the muscle injuries to speak of.

Broken legs, collar bones, ribs, fingers and high ankle sprains - yes.

You have an extremely thorough warm up prior to apparent multiple attempts to rape a wild boar.

Surprised no one picked him up after we cut him.

Maybe he's not as good as we think.

He's better than Micah Pellerin. I am pretty certain of that. And honestly, for a late season fill in, he knows the system so it'll do, Donkey. It'll do.
