MCW 29 points in close loss to Pacers.

Awful comeback win against Bucks last night. Down 10 with 2 minutes left and force OT on a turnaround, fallaway, off of one foot 3 from Spencer Hawes where the play was designed for him. Then Turner took over in OT. Then Pels are down 12 to Cavs with 5 to go and comeback. Shitty draft pick night to say the least for the Sixers.

Dude, you may have to come to grips with the fact that the 76ers will probably make the playoffs in the East.

Hell, they might even win the Atlantic Division.

I have faith in Hinkie to go up and get whoever he wants.

Yeah...people will just want to take on lots of salary while giving up picks in an alltimer of a draft.
A team that is picking in the mid teens and wants to make a splash in the playoffs might. Obviously you're not gonna get a top 10 pick.

Trading Noah would be stupid...legit C are a rarity.

I dunno. I'm frustrated by playing four versus five on offense.
The way he can protect the rim is valuable...too valuable to deal. Then you have to seek out another C. Deng I could see moving, but Noah shiuld be untouchabke unless they get tremendous value.

The Thunder are putting a nice little beating on the Jazz. No Westbrook tonight (rest).

Up 72-38 late in the 3rd.

So the Nets lost again and the Bulls didn't even bother to show up in LA.

Rose out for season. Wow. 2 full seasons gone and both his knees are messed up. He may come back and be a real good player, but I don't foresee anymore MVP's or anything approaching that. Bulls are screwed. And in the East they'll still make the playoffs this year. Sucks for them.

Derrick Rose Out For Season After Undergoing Knee Surgery

Derrick Rose is out for the rest of the 13-14 NBA season after undergoing surgery to repair the torn medial meniscus in his right knee.

Rose and the Chicago Bulls are taking the more cautious approach to repair the knee.

Rose missed the entire 12-13 season recovering from a torn ACL suffered in the 2012 NBA Playoffs.

...........

Yep, tear it down.

Trade Deng soon to a team who is expecting to compete in the playoffs. Buy out Boozer after the year is over. I'd even shop Noah if I could get a first for him.

You want to sink your pick as low as you can in this draft. That plus the Bobcats pick could set you up nicely moving forward.

You'll then have Rose (if he can ever stay healthy), Butler, Mirotic, 2-3 very good rookies, and cap space to build around.

Yea, agreed, although I'd probably keep Noah. They'll probably end up being a 6 or 7 seed or something though, I'd be surprised if they went full on tank.

Rose/Smart/Butler/Mirotic/Noah with Gibson and another lottery rookie would look real nice though.

The East is so bad they can make a trade or two and still make the playoffs.

It's a long season. You'd think that teams like the Knicks and Nets will eventually win some games.

Getting into the top 5 will be hard, but you can get into the top 10 if you strip it down enough, like if you could find a buyer for Boozer for ANY price right now.

I agree that the Knicks and Nets will play better and move up the standings. But then there are the Cavs, Pistons, Sixers, Celtics, Bucks, Magic, Raptors, and Wizards. Right now it's the Heat and Pacers and everybody else. The East is horrid.

That's 8. You can do worse than another of those teams or two. So that's 6. Throw in three from the West and that's 9, you can pick 10th.

But if you make the playoffs it doesn't matter. You'll pick behind all those teams in the West who had a better record, no?

Oh, true. 7 teams in the conference won't make the playoffs.

If you figure NYK and Brooklyn get their acts together eventually, its still doable.

Cleveland probably rebounds eventually too, especially if they are interested in getting Deng.

That makes Miami-Indy-Atlanta-NYK-Brookly-Cleveland.

So you have to be worse than 2 teams out of Philly, Detroit, Washington, Charlotte and Toronto.
