A pick at 24 is way different than a pick in the top 10.Schmitty you have changed bro!!!
I know, I was just joking. It just feels dirty for you to say you'd take a corner in the first. I'm with you on this one though. I'd take Stingley at 24 just as a clear BPA. But if we had a top 10 pick, I wouldn't touch the guy. And I sure as shit wouldn't trade up for him.A pick at 24 is way different than a pick in the top 10.
Whatever, corner whore.A pick at 24 is way different than a pick in the top 10.
They love their jumbo LB's so it wouldn't surprise me at all.
Bring it on. Pushes another guy down lower. They love their jumbo LB's so it wouldn't surprise me at all.
I mean sort of but not necessarily. Let's say Tyron gets hurt, for only a few games like we know he will. And Biadasz plays like he did at the end of last year. We aren't cooked from just that.
There's been lots of smoke around us possibly trading up, and specifically into that 10-15 range. Combine that with Stephen saying we have 14-16 1st round grades and the likelihood of them moving up is probably damn near 33% at this point.
Teams have to get creative and deal with this all the time. We can't leave our QB without a running game or make him an easy target in the passing game. It's that simple, this isn't 2016 anymoreI mean sort of but not necessarily. Let's say Tyron gets hurt, for only a few games like we know he will. Yeah I don't think we will trade up but I'd be lying if I didn't admit I'll be nervous during the draft that we will trade up. I really don't want to. Not with our needs and not in this draft. You don't trade up for a guy who in other years would simply be a top 20-25 prospect. There's been lots of smoke around us possibly trading up, and specifically into that 10-15 range. I think Jameson Williams would be for me assuming his rehab is where the reports say it is. But all depends on the injury. With no injury he is slam dunk top 15.Assuming they're telling the truth about having 14-16 1st round grades, it's pretty obvious who most of those are. The following are locks:
OL: Neal, Ekwonu, Cross, Penning
DL: Hutchinson, Thibodeaux, Walker
WR: Wilson, Olave, London
CB: Gardner
That's 11, and I think you can pretty safely assume that Davis and Johnson are in there too, which takes us to 13. I'm leaving out Williams and Stingley due to injury concerns but if you include them you're already at 15.
The big question is who might sneak in on the back end of that, if anybody?
Perhaps someone like McDuffie, Zion, Green or Burks.
I bet they are thinking they have to get an elite lineman now that can play LG and then go to LT when they are finally done counting on Tyron Smith. That can really only mean Penning or the top 3. Cross would have a real tough time playing guard.Yeah I don't think we will trade up but I'd be lying if I didn't admit I'll be nervous during the draft that we will trade up. I really don't want to.
